Here’s an interesting article about the self-driving cars from TechCrunch. From this article “Google’s Self-Driving Cars Complete 300K Miles Without Accident, Deemed Ready For Commuting,” the article mentions that there have been accidents in the past regarding these self-driving cars but it was while PEOPLE were in control of them!
This reminds me of the BYOD phenomenon because no matter how secure you try to make technology and mobile devices, people are still controlling them and no one is perfect. Mobile devices are walked into SCIFs all the time simply because someone forgot they had it in their pocket.
With this in mind, enterprises (corporations and agencies alike) must have continuous monitoring of all Wi-Fi and cellular devices in the building, room, or outside that are attached to the network.
