AirPatrol Corp., a Columbia cyber security company that focuses on wireless and mobile systems, plans to soon unveil its new 5,200-square-foot headquarters in the Maple Lawn Corporate Center in Howard County.
The company announced it was moving from its previous location on Broken Land Parkway in July and had considered other options in Maryland and Virginia.
AirPatrol’s flagship product is called ZoneDefense, which monitors and manages wireless and mobile devices while being used outside of a person’s network at their home.
AirPatrol had planned to unveil the office at a ceremony on Thursday, which has been cancelled due to an impending snow storm. The event has been rescheduled to for Feb. 20 at AirPatrol’s headquarters at 8171 Maple Lawn Blvd. Howard County Executive Ken Ulman is expected to attend the ribbon cutting and watch as AirPatrol demonstrates its ZoneDefense product.
AirPatrol has 12 employees at its headquarters and another 13 across the world.
